Lin Lu, Violin/Viola

Lin Lu has devoted more than 50 years to a distinguished career in professional orchestras and music education, sharing his passion for music through both performance and teaching.

As an inspiring and responsive teacher, Mr. Lu has guided many students, both long-term and short-term, towards achieving their musical goals.

While teaching in China, his students gained admission to prestigious institutions such as the Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory of Music, and Tianjin Conservatory of Music.

Many of these students furthered their studies at renowned international institutions, including Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Mannes School of Music, and Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.

As a highly experienced music instructor, Mr. Lu firmly believes that a solid foundation in technique sets students on the path to achieving their musical goals more quickly. To accomplish this, Mr. Lu combines various teaching methods, including the Suzuki style, to ensure the best approach for each student.
